The Ocean Blue – Ultramarine album review

TOB-Ultramarine_1400X1400.124809Ah, Hershey, Pa. Home of the famous chocolate company and… Brit-inspired dream-pop?
The latter may be the (much) lesser known of the two exports, but when The Ocean Blue scored a few minor hits following the release of their 1989 self-titled debut album, they put the small central Pennsylvania town on the map for many a gloomy college kid enamored with English bands like The Smiths, Echo & the Bunnymen and The Psychedelic Furs.

Penis Song

As many know by now The Stabcast encourages audience participation.   While watching the live show the hosts often build off of what is being said in the chat room.  Listeners can also call in live,  leave voice mail after the show or email us whatever they want (stabback@stabcast.com).  With all of that being said we get some good things from time to time.  Here’s the perfect example.  We received a voice mail with a little acappella song about The Stabcast enjoying penis.  As often the case, we took it and built it up by adding a back track…Enjoy this classic user submitted clip:

Justin Bieber sucks

I’ll start this off by being completely honest. I have never once heard any song by Justin Bieber…truthfully, i did not even know that he was a singer…wait, I mean recording artist until the other day. The reason I say recording artist rather than singer is because I don’t think he can truthfully sing at the age of 16…I’m sure his voice is still in the process of developing. He is a recording artist because I’m sure that some one is behind a computer making his voice sound good with several effects and whatnot. Anyway, that was not going to be my first reason as to why he sucks, but lets count it…Justin Bieber sucks because he can not really sing. Now, here is a random picture of him standing behind a microphone:
