THE MAINE TO RELEASE NEW STUDIO ALBUM, ‘FOREVER HALLOWEEN,’ ON JUNE 4

u34n_TheMaineFHwebPhoenix, Arizona’s The Maine will release their fourth studio album Forever Halloween worldwide on June 4th*. The record will be released independently in the US in partnership with their management team Eighty One Twenty Three, and released via Rude Records in Europe, UK, Southeast Asia, Australia and Japan.

The album, produced by Brendan Benson of The Raconteurs, will be the band’s second consecutive self-­funded release following their departure from Warner Bro. Records.

Listing their influences as AC/DC, Sex Pistols, Aerosmith, and The Cult, these guys in their late teens (you read that right) have already opened up for Steel Panther on a previous tour, and are currently touring the US for the first time with KISS and Motley Crew.

Film Review: Take This Waltz

Anchored by solid performances and some beautiful imagery, Sarah Polley’s newest film, Take This Waltz, nonetheless suffers a bit when taken as a whole. Its parts though… its parts are something to admire, if not love. It’s almost like Blue Valentine‘s younger hipster cousin.
