Local bands Kick Back Tomorrow, Rushmore and Robots and Racecars will also be joining us in studio to play a few songs live. All the fun starts at 6:00 PM EST right here at stabcast.com.
Thursdays of Steel: Remember
This Sunday is more than just the return of football. It’s a milestone to the biggest tragedy of my lifetime. September 11th, 2011. Ten years. It’s been ten years since terrorists changed the way we live our life. This isn’t a week where I go on some sort of nonsensical rambling. This isn’t a week where I post more pictures than words. This isn’t a week where any of us treat one another with ill will. We’re all American this week. We all take some time to remember.
30 second clip of Blink-182′s new song Up All Night
Well, this song was going to be premiered tomorrow. However, it looks like the date was moved to today because Amazon put a 30 second preview of the single online early. It’s now removed from their site, but you can stream the 30 second clip below. Let us know what you think…it’s been 8 years without new music so it’s worth a post on this site…who knows, maybe the full version will also be posted here too (which we have a copy of).
A few changes for a better Stabcast
As most people know, The Stabcast podcast gets recorded live on Saturday’s and posted on stabcast.com at midnight on Sunday. Many may also know that starting about 3 weeks ago stabcast.com started to post daily updates (blogs, old shows and bits). Some people may have forgotten about this due to a glitch in our software. Our software stopped posting updates to Twitter and Facebook a few weeks ago. While, I’m sure you have seen some updates come across today…it seems that everything is back to normal and starting tonight these “reminders” will start being posted again.
