Bleeding Rainbow’s newest record, Yeah Right, is a fantastic work of indie-pop, full of melody, grit, atmosphere, and great songs. Addictive and dreamy, the four-piece out of Philadelphia (hey, that’s where I’m from!) have crafted a potent mix of rock, pop, and garage-punk that puts them at the top of the indie-rock game.

Kick Back Tomorrow, a 5-piece rock band from Philadelphia that makes music based on their wide range of influences, announces the release of their debut EP, “Selfish Dreamers” and release show with Punchline. Scheduled to be released on July 24, the album was partly fan-funded through a crowdfunding platform. Over $750 was raised in 14 days by fans using IndieGoGo.com.

Thursdays of Steel: Remember
This Sunday is more than just the return of football. It’s a milestone to the biggest tragedy of my lifetime. September 11th, 2011. Ten years. It’s been ten years since terrorists changed the way we live our life. This isn’t a week where I go on some sort of nonsensical rambling. This isn’t a week where I post more pictures than words. This isn’t a week where any of us treat one another with ill will. We’re all American this week. We all take some time to remember.
