The Vans Warped Tour stops in Philadelphia Tomorrow

Well, not really Philadelphia, but close.  From day 1 of The Stabcast we have supported local music and we continue to do so.  A lot of people know the Warped Tour for the bigger names like New Found Glory, Taking Back Sunday and All Time Low, to name a few.  The Vans Warped Tour is also known for bringing together smaller bands and allowing them to market to very large crowds.  The Stabcast will be covering the event tomorrow, so don’t forget to watch the show on Saturday and keep an eye out next week for our posts.

Stop Online Piracy Act

The Stabcast is not designed to change your political point of view, we believe you should collect the facts yourself and make up your own mind.  The Stabcast supports local music and the Stop Online Piracy Act ‘s main goal is to protect the intellectual property rights of contend owners.  The internet allows local musicians to get their music out to the world.  The internet also allows the world to post music online so anyone can download it.  Local musicians depend the sales of their music to not only make more music (recording costs money) but also promote themselves.  Bands are split and want their music to be heard by many people, but most agree that they need sales to support recording more.  Even if you do not support the Stop Online Piracy Act, you should support local music and not pirate it.

The Stabcast supports local music!

We have said it before and will say it again…The Stabcast supports local music. The Stabcast will not be replaying a show for the rest of the day on Stickam…that way you can watch a replay of Robots and Racecars’ Stickam show from last week. Go to their page to check it out!
