Thursdays of Steel: The End of an Era
There a lot of emotions racing through me right now. Ten months ago I started what was my first official blog, Thursday’s of Steel. I’ve been lax with the posts as of late, and this is not the end of it (as it will find revival over at Happy Hour on hhwst.net on 11/24/2011 {oh heyyyyy…. That’s Thanksgiving!}); just a new chapter. Thursdays of Steel will continue to be a weekly feature for Happy Hour and a Stabcast only version will be posted monthly.
Thursdays of Steel: Stay Thirsty
Last week, on July 13th, I shared a birthday day with Julius Caesar, Harrison Ford, Benny Benassi and some actress named Git Gay. We took off from Happy Hour this week so I could spend Saturday celebrating with family and friends; and for the last few years my restaurant of choice has been Dave and Buster’s by a mall here in Philadelphia.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting older and remembering the good ol’ days or if it’s genuine hate, but technology has ruined us as a society. It has brought us great things in specific areas of different industries, however I’m talking in the broadest of scales; technology will make us dumber.

There’s nothing that pisses me off more than people that talk shit or complain, but hide behind anonymity; grow a pair of balls (or ovaries) and confront me! Just because I go by a stage name, doesn’t mean I’m hiding. I put a face to the voice who talks on NUMEROUS shows; I put a name to the blogs I write; I don’t fucking hide behind a veil of lies! Sadly, the internet is full of assholes that just troll around; acting tough and talking shit, but hides themselves with fake emails and names.
Life Is Short, Make Something Of It
It’s a new year and a new format for Stabcast.com. I can’t give you the Steel Tip guarantee that you’ve come to grow and love for the daily line up The Stabcast has ready to offer, but I can promise that blogs from Steel Tip on Thursday’s will be thing you can come and enjoy on a weekly basis; no questions asked. I’ll be like the post office, through rain, snow, sleet, hail, you name it, and I’ll post through it. Even the holidays. I will not promise that they’ll all be funny, even when their meant to be.
