Bowling For Soup: Fishin’ For Woos

The Back Story

Bowling For Soup recently released the album “Fishin’ For Woos” shortly after the release of “Sorry For Partyin” and very soon after their label, Jive, parted ways with them (and therefore didn’t promote that album correctly).  From my understanding Jaret locked himself in a room and knocked out this album about a month after the separation.  Being a Bowling For Soup fan for a while now I decided to sit down and take a listen to how this independent release would sound.

Every Woman from Iceland looks like Bjork…a review of “My Head is an Animal” by Of Monsters and Men

Since August 2011 just about every time I turned on Philly’s Radio 104.5 I was ear blasted with the single “Little Talks” by Icelandic indie/folk sextet “Of Monsters and Men”. This first single is energetic, melodic, and evokes a smile just about every time it’s heard. It’s the kind of single that makes you want more, so when I found their full length album “My head is an Animal” due to hit the states on April 3rd on my desk, I couldn’t wait to pop it in and hear what else this band had to offer.

Top 5 euphemisms for sex

As many of you know, I normally like to provide some type of service with my blog entries.  This week is no different…I’m going to provide a list of the top five euphemisms for sex.  I know any people are asking why this is important.  The answer is simple…most of our audience is young and sexual active.  However, they can’t talk freely in front of their parents about their degenerate lifestyle so they need to come up with the euphemisms so the parents will be none the wiser.  So, let’s kick off the list.
