The Hunger Games – A review of the movie I watched based on some books I did not read.

I went into this movie not really knowing what to expect. I mean, I knew it was going to consist of Jennifer Lawrence being a badass in some sort of post-apocalyptic future where they make kids fight to the death, but had no idea how intense it was going to be.

Do you like to win? OF COURSE YOU DO! That’s why we in Work To Win have set out to make a soundtrack to your winning, by making songs that bring a smile to your face and get stuck in your head for days! We’d like to consider our sound something unique and different (and others have already agreed!), but our influences can basically be thrown into a mixing pot and bits and pieces of each can be heard in our songs. The breezy, airy sounds of 90′s acoustic alternative-rock tracks (Matchbox Twenty, Counting Crows, Dave Matthews Band), the energy and drive of 90′s pop-punk (Weezer, Green Day, blink-182), the piano-based creativity of modern day alternative-pop (fun., The Hush Sound, Jack’s Mannequin), and the melodic/harmonic sense of classic 60′s rock (The Beatles, The Who, The Beach Boys).

It’s a new year and a new format for Stabcast.com. I can’t give you the Steel Tip guarantee that you’ve come to grow and love for the daily line up The Stabcast has ready to offer, but I can promise that blogs from Steel Tip on Thursday’s will be thing you can come and enjoy on a weekly basis; no questions asked.
