A few days ago we called Jaret Reddick, from Bowling For Soup and talked about the album Fishin’ For Woos, having fun on tour, working without a label and doing different versions of songs. If you missed any of the call we have the studio video below for you to enjoy.
Matthew and Santoro host. Jaret, from Bowling For Soup calls in to the show. In studio musical performances from Kick Back Tomorrow, Rushmore and Robots and Racecars. Teams form to play The Stabcast Tumblr Game.
Last night The Stabcast did a special live broadcast featuring a special phone interview with Jaret, from Bowling For Soup. We were the most watched show on Stickam yesterday and would like to thank a few people for helping us pull off the show on such short notice.
The Back Story
Bowling For Soup recently released the album “Fishin’ For Woos” shortly after the release of “Sorry For Partyin” and very soon after their label, Jive, parted ways with them (and therefore didn’t promote that album correctly). From my understanding Jaret locked himself in a room and knocked out this album about a month after the separation. Being a Bowling For Soup fan for a while now I decided to sit down and take a listen to how this independent release would sound.
Monday night we will be doing a special live broadcast as we record a phone interview with Jaret, from Bowling For Soup. You can watch live from our site, join the chat room and post your questions for us to ask or even call in live and ask yourself. Local bands Kick Back Tomorrow, Rushmore and Robots and Racecars will also be joining us in studio to play a few songs live. All the fun starts at 6:00 PM EST right here at stabcast.com.
