Guthrie Govan was first came to my attention with his series of videos on YouTube. His talent is unquestionable, and his new band The Aristocrats seems to be a good outlet for his talents. I feel as though Govan has earned his place among the guitar legends Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, and this is a project to show that he can do more than session work. Culture Clash shows that The Aristocrats may be the Cream of progressive rock, with powerful side-players coming together to create good music together in their genre.

It frames a time of warmth and novelty, featuring dense female harmonies, tape saturated synths, guitars and drum machines. Eventually Ra– returned to her role in BRAIDS, touring constantly, while Ag–moved to Europe, treading deeper into dance music, electronics, and production.

Tweens are a trash pop trio hailing from Cincinnati Ohio, comprised of Bridget Battle (Vox/Gtr), Peyton Copes (Bass), and Jerri Queen (Drums/BG Vox). Since their formation in May 2012, they have gone from pumping out old doo wop songs and demos in their basement to touring with The Breeders and making a name for themselves in just a years time. Blown out with an exploding intensity and full of sugary sweet hooks, Tweens will be in the studio this summer to record their first album on Frenchkiss Records
