I’m sure by now everyone has seen the clip of Snoop Dogg rapping onstage with a hologram version of Tupac at Coachella. I’m a little confused about why this is getting so much press because it’s really nothing new. On The Stabcast, we have had a few bands come in and work with the Tupac hologram before this. I have some stills from our vidcasts below and trust me when I say that these were all very amazing performances.
Let’s go back to September 18, 2011 when we had Corporate Hearts in the studio. Here they are performing “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted”

Here he is upstaging Robots and Racecars while performing “When Thugz Cry”

Don’t forget later in that same show when he dialed it back a notch and helped with the backing vocals while Rushmore played their song “Eastbound Skyline”

He even stopped by a few weeks ago and performed “I Wonder If Heaven’s Got A Ghetto” while Matthew and Santoro watched.

Lastly, let’s not forget the first time we saw the Tupac hologram on the show. This is from about a year ago, and here he is getting ready before the show with Santoro and Steel Tip.

As you see, the Tupac hologram is nothing new, we have had it on the show several times before but have never received the proper credit for it.
