Almost 3 years ago Matthew and I figured out how to use the studio phone to call overseas and decided to call NikolineNikki, who is responsible for for The Farmville Song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7jdQwXwBcw). Take a listen back to this classic clip while both parties try to figure out what the other is trying to say.
Nicholas had to opportunity to do a brief phone interview with Jason from the band Rosco Bandana. Their new album Time To Begin was recently released on Hard Rock Records (you can check out Nicholas’ review here!), and they’re on tour right now in support of it. The tour and album, as well as some other fun things, are discussed as Jason and the band get ready to play the Rock Shop in Brooklyn, so check it out below!
What happens when 5 dudes from Cambridge UK decide they really liked how rock used to be back in the 80′s?
You get The Treatment.
Listing their influences as AC/DC, Sex Pistols, Aerosmith, and The Cult, these guys in their late teens (you read that right) have already opened up for Steel Panther on a previous tour, and are currently touring the US for the first time with KISS and Motley Crew.
Check out this phone interview I did with singer Matt Jones.
When Justin Collier’s not defending pop punk and rocking the stage with his friends in Man Overboard, he’s hanging at the Slurpee truck and enjoying the life of the Vans Warped Tour. I got to sit down with the New Jersey native for a few minutes and ask a few questions.
So, I’m not proud of this…I got all drunk at warped tour and made fun of this dudes shirt. In all actuality it’s not a bad-looking shirt, but 5 $9 beers in – I hated it. In fact I’m so upset at my poor manners during this video I almost didn’t post this interview. Then I remembered our show is ”The Stabcast” and we proudly “take stabs” at anyone and everyone so I decided you all would at least, maybe, get a laugh out of how HORRIBLE I was being to this poor dude. I was so awful that I didn’t even get the guys name. I have no idea what he does for Pittsburgh artist Danielle Barbe. all I know is he plays music with her. Take a look at my super drunk interview with the drummer or guitarist, or Bassist, or tambourine player, or Uilleann pipe player, for Danielle Barbe.
Cold Forty Three somehow had the energy, catchy songs, and general awesomeness to pull Santoro and myself away from the beer lady. That should pretty much say everything. We posted some pictures of their set last week, now check out our interview with Josh and Moses…
Friend of the show, and Philadelphia comedian Danny Ozark has been on the show a few times. For those people that have missed his segments, they are always fast paced and fun. Here is a segment from the old days of The Stabcast…try to keep up with the fast paced talk about 9/11, STDs, other radio shows, doing coke and doing standup.
