DRUG CHURCH PAY HOMAGE TO ‘PAUL WALKER’ ON NEW STUDIO ALBUM

1Degenerate punk loners Drug Church have announced plans to release their debut, full-length album,Paul Walker, on July 23rd via No Sleep Records.  The guys have premiered the first new song, “Donny’s Woods,” today atAltPress.com.  The misled and ill informed can pre-order the new album from No Sleep Records now at nosleeprecords.com/paulwalker.

Consisting of Patrick Kindlon (End of A Year, Self Defense Family), Chris Villeneuve (drums), Nick Cogan (guitar), Cory Galusha (guitar) and Pat Wynne (bass), Drug Church is the sound garbage makes when thrown off a roof into the dumpster your dickhead boss rented for your underpaying contractor gig. Come back in a few weeks and steal the copper piping because there’s no other benefit to the job and you’re probably getting sick from asbestos, so to hell with it.
Borrowing heavily from bands like Seaweed and Quicksand, Drug Church released their debut, self-titled EP in July of 2012; the perfect record to listen to as you skate home from your night shift cleaning up puke in the bathroom of a Steak & Shake.  It even scored the band a spot on Alternative Press’ “100 Bands You Need To Know” list earlier this year!
2013 rolled around the guys took a break from delivering pizzas and entered the studio to record their first full-length, Paul Walker; surely named for their secret obsession with ‘Varsity Blues’ and ‘Eight Below.’  And the thought of letting these dudes wild again in the studio scared the shit out of No Sleep President, Chris Hansen; rightfully so!
“No Sleep offered us a bunch of money and suggested producers to record this LP with and we said, ‘Bro. You forgot the struggle, you forgot the streets,” Kindlon says. “We’re recording this as the coregods intended: Quick and nasty.’ So what’s what we did. Pushpit.”
Nonetheless, they guys somehow managed to crank out ten of the gnarliest tracks you’ll hear all year long, including the new song, “Donny’s Woods.”
“For everyone who ever thought about faking their own death, we present ‘Donny’s Woods’ a song about how quickly people will forget about your ass,” Kindlon tells AltPress.com.
One thing people won’t forget though is how awesome Paul Walker is…oh and the album is pretty good too!

Beginning today, fans will have the rare opportunity to go behind the cameras at Pierce The Veil’s recent video shoot for “Bulls In The Bronx.”  Watch as director Drew Russ and Pierce The Veil take you step-by-step through the storyline and process of shooting the new video.
“Our new video features a beautiful Latin girl doing some flashy and seductive Spanish dancing, a valiant matador, an angry bull, and the 4 of us smashed in the middle of all of the spiciness,” singer/guitarist Vic Fuentes tells Billboard.com.  “We honestly had more fun making this video than anything we’ve ever done. We were able to create an idea and watch it come to life literally before our eyes. It was a similar feeling to when we started hearing our new album come together. The excitement and payoff is indescribable and we hope everyone enjoys it. “
In other Pierce The Veil news, the band recently came off a sold out U.S. “Spring Fever Tour” with co-headliners All Time Low in support of their latest album, Collide With The Sky, which has now sold a whopping 120,000 copies.  The band is now headed to the UK for a month of sold out headline dates, and then will tour South America and Mexico in July.

Guy Gives Abercrombie & Fitch A Brand Readjustment By Giving Their Clothes To The Homeless

o-ABERCROMBIE-AND-FITCH-NEW-MODELS-facebookIn response to Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries not wanting “not so cool” kids or women who wear size large to wear his company’s clothes, Greg Karber has come up with a funny and creative way to readjust the Abercrombie & Fitch brand.

He’s giving their clothes to the homeless.
After scouring his local thrift shop’s “douchebag section,” Karber heads to LA’s Skid Row to dole out the clothes among the homeless population. Watch the stunt and find out how you can be involved in one man’s troll-job on a company with some pretty unflattering business practices in the video above.
